Really nice adapter. Completely fits the needs I have for a drop down and for raising up as needed. Could use an anti rattle adapter as it rattles and wobbles Slightly. The adapter has two built in screws however needs some for attaching to vehicle. This is the only reason I gave 4 star's.
This is a very high quality drop hitch. I am very happy with it. Now I have to lift my mountain bike 20 inches onto the rack instead of 30 inches.
Has the adaptability I was looking for. Use it for utility trailer. Also use for garbage transport down long driveway by taking advantage of vehicle air ride suspension system.
It may be overkill, but it gets my Thule bike rack at a workable level when I am not towing my small toy hauler trailer. The bike rack's ramp is now at a level where the its incline works for my heavy electric bike. I was having to lift it into place at the truck's hitch receiver's height.
Loved the free shipping and arrival time perfect drop down to carry a mobility scooter.
It's well made and very sturdy. Easy to use and the construction is flawless.

Perfect solution to drop height for our bike rack.
Bad ass product and very well built and love the black and red! I needed to drop down off my front bumper so i can put my dirt bike rack on the front of my truck when hauling the camper trailer love the set up

The hitch work great
Had questions with the online order, called in and quickly got to an (American) customer support agent that did a great job of explaining what was happening and he searched to find me the best resolution. He made the purchase and payment incredibly easy. Shipment was timely, good communications, and product was as expected.
Very heavy duty
This 11" drop perfectly fulfilled the need to lower my RockyMounts Gigawatt hitch on the front receiver of my Transit 350HD. Very solid and even though it's pricey I have no worries about road-worthiness compared to cheaper options on Amazon. As always, etrailer shipped quickly and securely.

I purchased a lifted 2020 Jeep Gladiator equipped with aftermarket JCR bumpers. The challenge was towing my boats. The Patriot hitch with solid steel shaft provided the basis for a solution. The JCR bumper has a hidden hitch receiver up against the spare tire in such a way to preclude the use of the standard hitch pin hole. To solve the problem of the receiver hidden behind the license plate I mounted the upper portion of the hitch upside down. M&G Trailer of MN solved the pin hole problem by drilling a 2nd pin hole in the solid steel shaft. This pin hole is inside the bumper just behind the spare. I installed the lower portion of the hitch to provide the maximum drop needed to align with the boat trailer. The result has proven effective with no distortion in the bumper or the hitch.
It does a fine job with adjusting the height of the hitch. It is heavy and adds a significant amount to the tongue weight.
Excellent hitch! Well made, easy to use. I'd recommend this hitch to anyone needing and adjustable hitch for their trailer.

Patriot Hitches 'General' drop/rise receiver is perfect for use on higher vehicles. Test fit confirmed full unobstructed view of rear tag when using a hitch rack and cargo bag. Looking forward to all this hitch is capable of doing. Superior design and fab!

Our Ranger Raptor sits high. So our E-Bike Carrier is at a level that makes it a challenge to load the 65lb Bike. With this adjustable height extender, the Rack position is more easily accessible.
